DescriptionTopic: “A Day in the Life of a Business Analyst on an Agile Team”
Agile practices impact traditional roles on a development team. In this session you will learn how the BA role evolves on an effective agile team: what stays the same and what changes. Hear best practices you can apply in your agile environment, or better understand how you can adapt your BA skills to be better prepared to move into an agile team.
Presenter: Paul Spencer is Senior Consultant at Strategic Data Systems, and a founding team member of its Agile Development Center. Paul has 12 years of experience in software development, focusing on Agile methodologies and object oriented design. Certified in Scrum, he has provided a wide range of Agile consulting, from remote projects with skilled Agile teams to individually mentoring Agile processes within large corporations and start-up settings. Paul holds a Masters in Human Factors Engineering, and a Bachelors in Systems Analysis with a minor in Physics. Paul has spoken on Agile and Refactoring to a variety of audiences. He is also an active member of Agile Cincinnati.
